Nagasa rice Koshihikari
This brand of rice is harvested in the Nagasa Plain in Kamogawa-shi, Chiba, and has been selected as one of the "100 Best Rice-Growing Regions in Japan."
It was chosen as the rice presented to Emperor Meiji on his accession to the throne.
The Nagasa Plain is an ideal environment for growing rice. This delicious rice is made from the local heavy clay soil rich in minerals and high quality water.
It has a strong sweetness and a chewy texture.
