Copying Sutras
Experience a soothing and tranquil time
To complete it, simply trace sincerely the 16 characters of the Medicine Sutra written in light ink.
Once you have copied the sutra and dedicated it, you will be given a special goshuin (red seal) written on gold paper as proof.
The dedicated sutras are offered to the principal deity of Bhaisajyaguru, Yakushi Nyorai, and burned at the Onsenji Yakushi-ko "Saitou Daigomaku Ceremony" held every year on August 8th.

Factory tour and yuba pulling experience
Have fun while learning about the traditional food culture of the region!
At Nikko Yuba Manufacturing's Nikko Factory, you can observe the yuba-making process and experience pulling up the yuba. This is the only facility in Tochigi Prefecture offering such a tour.
On the factory tour, you can see how yuba is made through glass.
You can also enjoy making yuba in a miniature yuba tank during the yuba pulling experience.

This is a morning trekking tour that departs and returns from the hotel and is easy for even first-timers to join.
A certified guide from the Japan Mountain Guides Association will provide a thorough lecture on how to use snowshoes and the key points of winter mountain hiking.
In the snowy forest, you can enjoy observing animal footprints and the natural changes that are unique to winter!
