An art project with local high school students has been launched, with the theme of local attractions.
A statue of our founder, Kumahachi Aburaya, dressed in a local design created by a young sensibility, welcomes you in the hotel lobby.
Kamenoi Hotel aims to be an even more appealing "local inn filled with tradition and warmth" by adding the unique value of the area to the spirit of hospitality and innovation that has been passed down since Kumahachi Aburaya 's founding.
The hotel is currently installing the Kumahachi statues one after another, and has now started an art project in which local high school students are asked to use the brand new Kumahachi statues as canvases to paint them in colors that are representative of the area.

The "Kumahachi Statue" embodies the "local charm" of the younger generation's perspective and sensibility. It is scheduled to appear in Kamenoi Hotels nationwide.
In this project, we hope that the Kumahachi statues in each area will become new symbols, providing an opportunity for customers visiting Kamenoi Hotels across the country to discover new charms, and that the hotels will also become more familiar to local residents as "their town's hotel."
Please look forward to the art project at Kamenoi Hotel, which has inherited the "spirit of hospitality" from Aburaya Kumahachi!
