We've added an extra free shuttle bus service departing at 8:00 AM!

In response to requests from customers visiting the Kumano Kodo (Nakahechi route),

Starting June 1, 2026, we will increase the number of free shuttle buses departing the hotel at 8:00 (bound for JR Kii-Tanabe Station).

Because it allows for a smooth connection to the 8:00 AM local bus heading to Takijiri-oji, the starting point of Nakahechi,

It's perfect for starting your walk in the morning.

Hotel (departs 8:00) = Free shuttle bus (about 10 minutes) = JR Kii-Tanabe station

JR Kii-Tanabe Station (departs 8:32 and 8:37) = Route bus (about 40 minutes) = Takijiri Bus Stop

*It takes about 2 minutes to walk from the "Takijiri" bus stop to Takijiri-oji.

Route buses from JR Kii-Tanabe Station (Ryujin Bus, Meiko Bus)

It's very convenient because two trains depart consecutively at 5-minute intervals during the 8 o'clock hour.

You can start walking from Takijiri-oji around 9:30 AM.
