Ougigahama features sandy beaches resembling fans spread out, with crystal-clear waters and calm waves. This beach is attractive for its Access, about a 10-minute walk from JR Kii-Tanabe Station and about a 10-minute drive from Nanki Tanabe IC. Beach houses are equipped with paid parking for 400 cars, toilets, changing rooms, showers, and free lockers, making it easy to enjoy sea leisure. There is also a wide variety of marine sports and events such as SUP, sea kayaking, and beach yoga. Relaxing while watching the beautiful sunset is also recommended.

Every year from July to August, during the beach season, this beach becomes a popular family destination, bustling with many people and making it the perfect spot to create lasting summer memories.

Behind the beach, there's a grassy area, making it a perfect space for those who want to relax or for children to play.

Additionally, a "SHIOGORI monument" has been installed, and on sunny days, the letters "SHIOGORI" stand out beautifully against the backdrop of the Ogihama sea, making it a great place to take photogenic pictures.

A camera stand for taking photos is also provided, and the base for placing your smartphone can rotate.
