Oyama Senmaida (Terraced Rice Fields with Lights) 2026

Light weaves the night in the countryside. At Oyama Senmaida, selected as one of Japan's 100 Best Terraced Rice Fields,

10,000 LED lights will shine brightly.

Enjoy the autumn and winter traditions of Boso Kamogawa.

The lights change every 15 minutes, switching between orange, blue, green, and purple, creating a fantastical atmosphere that delights visitors.

Under a sky full of stars, in a tranquil setting, and illuminated by ever-changing colored LED lights, you can enjoy a different view of the Oyama Senmaida rice terraces than usual.

Event period: From October 24, 2026 (Saturday) to January 11, 2027 (Monday/National Holiday)

Event time: Approximately 5 PM to 8 PM (about 3 hours after sunset)

Location: Oyama Senmaida Kamogawa-shi Hiratsuka 540 *About 20~25 minutes by car from our hotel

Content: Illuminating the terraced rice fields with 10,000 LED lights.

It switches between four colors: orange → blue → green → purple, every 15 minutes.
