A local Kumahachi statue painted by local high school students has been unveiled!

A statue of our founder, Kumahachi Aburaya, dressed in a local design created by a young sensibility, welcomes you in the hotel lobby.
KAMENOI HOTEL nationwide are working as an "art project" to have local high school students paint the brand new "Kumahachi Statue" on canvas in colors typical of the region.
The KAMENOI HOTEL KAMOGAWA statue of Kumahachi was designed and painted by the art department of Chiba Nagasa High School, and returned to the hotel on October 5, 2025. Please see the details of the local design "Kumahachi statue" drawn by a young sensibility.

The jacket is inspired by the fisherman's sunny outfit "Manshu", and Kamogawa Matsushima, killer whales, sea turtles,
The left shoulder is painted with the "turtle" and the right shoulder with the "Hot springs" emblem, and the shoes are decorated with a lemon motif that is Kamogawa and is thriving.
The tie is based on the famous edamame "Kamogawa Shichiri" in the prefecture.
