A local Kumahachi statue painted by local high school students has been unveiled!

A statue of our founder, Kumahachi Aburaya, dressed in a local design created by a young sensibility, welcomes you in the hotel lobby.
KAMENOI HOTEL nationwide are working as an "art project" to have local high school students paint the brand new "Kumahachi Statue" on canvas in colors typical of the region.
KAMENOI HOTEL TOBA 's "Kumahachi Statue" was designed and painted by the art department of Mie Ritsu Toba High School, and returned to the hotel on July 15, 2025. Please see the details of the local design "Kumahachi statue" drawn by a young sensibility.

Toba Various creatures such as sea otters, penguins, and dolphins in the aquarium, Toba Ships and ama divers anchored in the harbor, and famous pearls are expressed in color.
The jacket was made in a darker color to bring out the variety of colors.
KAMENOI HOTEL aims to be an even more appealing "local inn filled with tradition and warmth" by adding the unique value of the area to the spirit of hospitality and innovation that has been passed down since Kumahachi Aburaya 's founding.
