What is the local “Koga Cola”?
It was manufactured by Koga Soft Drinks, which once existed in Miyama City Fukuoka, and was sold in candy stores, etc., but it disappeared when the company went out of business and became a ``phantom cola.''
In 2010, it was reprinted as a specialty of the mineral spring town of Nagada for the first time in about 50 years, and the taste was recreated based on feedback from former drinkers. By using spring water from Nagata Kosenjo as part of the brewing water, it has a soft acidity and a mellow aftertaste.
It's so popular that some people come from far away to buy it, and it's a rare cola that can only be drunk in this area, with an adorable retro label.
