The 75th Suigo Itako Iris Festival is currently underway.

Iris season has arrived.

Located about 7 km southeast of our hotel, the Suigo Itako Iris Garden typically blooms from late May to late June.

Irises (Japanese irises) are in bloom, with approximately 500 varieties and 1 million plants covering the entire area.

The best time to see them is in early June, but the 75th Suigo Itako Iris Festival starts on May 22nd.

During the period, the area will be lit up every day from 18:30 to 22:00,

The "Bride Boat" recreates the traditional wedding procession of Itako,

Events such as "rowboat sightseeing," where you can travel down the river in a traditional rowboat, are also held.

You can enjoy the charming waterside scenery.
