Daikanbo
The highest peak of Gairinzan, located northward on Route 212 from Mt Aso. The view of Aso of the five peaks from the 936-meter-high observatory in a row is likened to the image of the reclining Buddha. The name was given by the writer Tokutomi Soho, who was moved by the beauty of the mountains. If weather conditions are favorable, a sea of clouds can sometimes be seen early in the morning.

Aso Cuddly Dominion
An animal entertainment park located at the foot of the lush green Aso mountains. Under the concept of "Earth, Animals, People, and Fun Creation Company," visitors can enjoy seeing and touching bears, baby bears, penguins, capybaras, goats, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, blue-and-white salamanders, and many other animals. Roadside Station Aso
This roadside station is located in Aso-shi Kumamoto, and overlooks the majestic Five Mountains Aso. It has a wide selection of Aso specialties, including seasonal vegetables and fruits, meat and dairy products, sweets, and homemade bento boxes. In addition, a tourist information desk has been set up within the building as an information hub for Aso-shi, where specialized staff are available to provide Sightseeing information, transportation information, and local information in Japanese, English, and Chinese. Aso Shinto shrine
It is the headquarters of about 500 Aso Shinto shrines throughout Japan. It is said to have been founded in 282 B.C. Since ancient times, the shrine has been revered as the number one shrine in Higo Province, combining the belief in volcanoes with Aso the belief that the crater of Mt.

Sensuikyo Gorge
A valley at an altitude of about 900m at the northern foot of Mt. Nakadake and Mt. Takadake in Aso. It is called Sensuikyo because it is "a gorge so beautiful that it makes a thousand people drunk." About 50,000 Miyamakirishi flowers grow naturally on the mountainside, and in mid-May they reach their peak, painting the whole area in pink.

Yonezuka
It is about 80m high and is said to have been formed by an eruption about 3,300 years ago. Its beautiful shape resembles an upside-down bowl, with a large depression at the top. The slopes are covered with soft grassland, so from spring to summer it turns a stunning shade of green, creating a beautiful sight.

Kusasenrigahama Beach
Kusasenrihama is one of Aso 's most famous tourist destinations. Located at an altitude of about 1,100m, it offers a great view of the smoking Mt. Aso Nakadake to the east, a large pond in front of you, and grazing horses walking leisurely across the grassland. In summer, the beach shines with vivid green, and in the harsh winter, it can be enveloped in a fantastic world of silvery white. Aso Volcano Museum

Aso Park Toll Road
This mountain road leads from Aso Sanjo Hiroba, the end point of the Aso Panorama Line, to the crater observation deck at Aso summit. Once you pass through the gate, you'll find yourself faced with rugged land that looks like a scene from a movie, making this a very popular touring spot.
