This time, we will introduce a course focusing on various gourmet foods and autumn foliage viewing around Arima.

11:00 Arrive at Arima Hot springs! Stroll around Hot springs town
Arima is a historic Hot springs town known as the oldest Hot springs in Japan.
It is lined with stores selling carbonated rice crackers and other gourmet foods.
First, we went to Arima Juhachiban, one of the most popular places in Hot springs town, to eat fluffy and melt-in-your-mouth Akashiyaki, which has an irresistible aroma of soup stock.

12:30 Enjoy fishing at Arima Masu Pond
A 15-minute walk from Arima Hot springs Station. Try your hand at rainbow trout fishing in a fishing pond surrounded by nature!
No reservation required, just come empty-handed.
It is an easy experience even for beginners and children, and you can eat the baby trout you catch.
You can enjoy eating the whole fish from head to tail at "Masu no Chaya" inside the park.
Have it fried until crispy.
The Masu Masu Koikoi Shrine inside the facility is a very popular power spot for matchmaking! If there is someone you like, write your feelings on a love charm or a cute heart-shaped votive tablet to improve your luck in love.

Take the Rokko Arima Ropeway, a well-known spot for viewing autumn leaves.
The view of the autumn leaves of Mt. Rokko from the ropeway is stunning, and the view that stretches out to your feet is overwhelming!
Enjoy the change in color from yellow to red as you head towards the top of Mt. Rokko.

We headed to Zuihoji Park, famous as one of the best spots in Hyogo to see autumn leaves.
Once you pass through the elegant gate that was moved from Fushimi Castle, you will be greeted by a magnificent view that is said to have been loved by Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
The grounds of Zuihoji Park are filled with pine and maple trees, and the scenery in late autumn makes it one of the best spots in the Kansai region for viewing autumn leaves.
Enjoy the autumn scenery, also known as the "Garden of Daily Life," as Toyotomi Hideyoshi once praised it, saying, "No matter how much I look at it, I never get bored."

I was tired after buying souvenirs and exploring Hot springs town, so I took a break at a cafe.
At the cafe run by Mitsumori, which is famous for its carbonated rice crackers, you can discover new delicious treats such as mille crepes and waffles made with carbonated rice crackers.
The colorful Arima cider and cream soda match the retro atmosphere of the hot Hot springs town and are also recommended for photo opportunities.
