Arima Hot springs Traditional craft "Arima Doll Brush" workshop
The Arima doll brush, which originated in the Muromachi period, is a cute karakuri brush that makes the doll face out of the butt of the shaft when the tip is lowered. The beautiful silk thread pattern on the bamboo shaft is a delicate craftsmanship. Hyogo Traditional craft Najio washi papermaking experience
Visitors can try their hand at making paper for envelopes, writing notes, and postcards.
You can also try your hand at peeling the black bark off of gampi tree.
After drying the paper, we will send the paper to your home by post. (Shipping fee included.)
