Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival, just over an hour away from Kazuno!
Be sure to come and see the cherry blossoms during Golden Week!
- sightseeing
Hirosaki Park, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, is about 1 hour and 14 minutes away by car from the hotel! |
I would like to go to the cherry blossoms in Hirosaki Park, but it is difficult to get a hotel reservation within Aomori because it is a popular tourist spot. In such a case, please consider our hotel. About 1 hour and 14 minutes via the Tohoku Expressway! It is located in almost the same time as going from Aomori City.
|
Even if you stay the night before and have a leisurely breakfast before departing, you will arrive in Hirosaki around noon. If you stay for multiple nights, you can also enjoy the fantastic illuminated cherry blossoms at night! This Golden Week, be sure to consider a trip that allows you to enjoy both Aomori and Kitaakita! |
● Depart from the hotel → Take the Kazuno Hachimantai IC towards Aomori → Take the Owani Hirosaki IC to Hirosaki city (approximately 1 hour 14 minutes)

There are three types of spring kaiseki meal plans |
For dinner, you can enjoy an 11-course banquet with the main course being Iwate's brand beef "Maezawa beef" grilled on a ceramic tile, as well as sake-steamed sea bream, snow crab, and sashimi such as bluefin tuna, scallops, seared Spanish mackerel, ark shell, red shrimp, and sea bream in a clay pot.

The main dish is a ceramic teppanyaki dish where you can compare Hachimantai beef and Hachimantai pork. You can enjoy a 10-course banquet dinner, which also includes rice seasoned with bamboo shoots and clams, grilled shrimp, the specialty kiritanpo hotpot, and a four-piece sashimi platter.

Enjoy an Akita breakfast |
Based on the concept of hospitality reminiscent of a nostalgic "hometown breakfast," we strive to create healthy and heartwarming menus using seasonal ingredients and Tohoku's specialty products. Enjoy a buffet of about 40 Japanese and Western dishes, including Akita's specialty Inaniwa udon, B-class gourmet Towada Barayaki, Akita's hot pot dish Damako Nabe, which uses Akita rice as dumplings, classic Japanese dishes such as Nikujaga, rich Iwaizumi yogurt, and bread carefully selected by our group hotels. |
Enjoy Kazuno even more! |
In the evenings, local storytellers hold events where they tell local folk tales and legends in the gentle, heart-warming Kazuno dialect. The events are held every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8pm in the lobby on the first floor (only held on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays until March). |
Not only is it convenient for the Hanawa Bayashi summer festival, but it is also convenient for traveling around Hirosaki! There are many other spots you can enjoy around the hotel, so please feel free to ask the hotel staff. We look forward to seeing you. |
