Hydrangea garden
Hydrangeas are a beautiful feature of the rainy season. From mid-June onwards, 15,000 hydrangeas of more than 30 different species, including native and introduced species, such as hydrangeas, loreleys, and rose hydrangeas, begin to change color. During June, the hydrangeas are illuminated until 9pm, creating a mysterious space.

The area around the birthplace of Hirobumi Ito, the first Prime Minister of Japan, has been developed as the Ito Memorial Park, and includes the Ito Museum and the former Hirobumi Ito residence, as well as his birthplace and the well where he was bathed after birth.

Iwakuni-shiMomijidani Park
Located near the World Heritage site Kintaikyo Bridge, this historic garden was created by turning the ruins of several temples from the Edo period into a park. The garden is home to around 1,000 maple trees and other autumn-colored trees, which turn red and yellow in the fall, creating a picturesque landscape.
