Notice of sea opening

A "Beach Safety Prayer Ceremony" will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, within the pine forest of Murozumi Beach.

*In case of rain, the event will be held at Hayanaga Hachimangu Shrine.

(It is held alternately every year to coincide with the opening of Nijigahama Beach and Murozumi Beach.)

After praying for safety at Murozumi Beach (Murozumi, Hikari-shi) and Nijigahama Beach, the beaches are finally opening for the season!
