KAMENOI HOTEL NACHI KATSUURA Grand Opening

"Kame no I Hotel Nachikatsuura" will have its grand opening on July 1, 2024.

This hotel boasts a view of the calm sea along Nachi Bay.
The hotel is located just a 17-minute drive from Kumano Nachi Taisha, one of the three great shrines of Kumano, along with Kumano Hongu Taisha and Kumano Hayatama Taisha, making it an ideal base for pilgrimages to Kumano.
It also has good Access to Nachi Falls, one of the three most famous waterfalls in Japan, and Daimonzaka, the symbol of the Kumano Kodo trail.

The lobby lounge features a relaxing space with a ceramic wall reminiscent of Nachi Falls and a moss terrarium reminiscent of the Kumano Kodo trail.
We have also opened the Nachi-Kumano Library, where you can learn more about the history and culture of Kumano Nachi, a library cafe lounge where you can prepare for your pilgrimage while sipping coffee, an entertainment lounge, a games corner, and a welcome drink corner.

Katsuura Fishing Port boasts the largest amount of raw tuna landings in Japan. Enjoy the fresh seafood unique to this region, including a tuna-only course meal, along with the beautiful scenery of Nachi Bay.
