KAMENOI HOTEL ASO, which offers magnificent views of the five peaks of Aso, opened the "Kumamon Room" on Friday, November 1st, a concept room based on Kumamon, Kumamoto's proud local mascot.

The wallpaper depicts the majestic scenery of Aso in calm earth tones, andthe black and red coloring of the bed throws and cushions are linked to "Kumamon." You can encounter "Kumamon" in various places in the room, creating Guest rooms where not only children but also adults can feel calm and relaxed.

In addition, the interior of the shop has been completely renovated and now sells local specialties and souvenirs, such as essential oils made from Aso 's brand tree, "Aso Oguni Cedar," dairy products from Abe Farm in Aso-shi, and tea from Aso Herb Garden, made from plants (mountain grasses) cultivated and harvested mainly in Aso.
