At the foot of Mt. Bukō, the symbol of Chichibu, in Hitsujiyama Park, you'll find "Shibazakura Hill," a famous spring spot in Chichibu.
The area planted with moss phlox is one of the largest in the Kanto region, and a variety of colorful moss phlox are planted there.
The planted area is approximately 17,600 m2, with 10 varieties and over 400,000 plants.
There's a petting zoo and a museum, offering a variety of ways to have fun.

The Shibazakura Festival is scheduled to be held from April 3rd (Friday) to May 6th (Wednesday), 2026.
Over 400,000 moss phlox plants, one of the largest displays in the Kanto region, will be in full bloom.
