    Founded in 1749, Yao Honten Co., Ltd. is a sake brewery that has been loved by the local community for a long history. Using pure water originating from Mt. Kobushigatake, which spans Saitama, Yamanashi, and Nagano prefectures, as brewing water, they produce local sake that is born in Chichibu and cherished by the people of Chichibu. Another major characteristic is their emphasis on careful sake brewing by hand, without relying too heavily on machinery.
