We can't wait for the cherry blossoms of Nagatoro, one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom spots, to bloom!

The cherry blossoms in Nagatoro are a famous cherry blossom viewing spot that has been selected as one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom viewing spots.

There are over 3,000 cherry trees planted around Nagatoro, and you can enjoy a variety of cherry blossoms from late March to late April.

Nagatoro's cherry blossoms have three peak viewing times.

The first is around the end of March, when the Iwata Cherry Blossoms, Ote Cherry Blossoms, and Hozenji Weeping Cherry Blossoms will be in full bloom.
The second time is from the end of March to early April, along Kitazakura Street (Sakura Tunnel), Nodoyama, and the Hodosan Approach.
The third is from early to mid-April, when the "Through-Way Cherry Blossoms (Double Cherry Blossoms)"
