Tsukuba Hot springs Tsukuba Grand Hotel

From September 29, 2023, Tsukuba Grand Hotel Ibaraki will join the MyStays Hotel Group, along with KAMENOI HOTEL KUJUKURI.

Mt. Tsukuba is a famous peak in Ibaraki, which is called ``Fuji of the West, Tsukuba of the East'' along with Mt. Fuji.

It has the lowest altitude among Japan's 100 Famous Mountains and is easy to climb, making it a popular spot visited by many climbers throughout the year.

This hotel is located halfway up Mt. Tsukuba and features a spectacular location overlooking the Kanto Plain.

The cable car station that runs from Tsukuba Grand Hotel to the summit of Mt. Tsukuba is within walking distance, and the entrance to Mt. Tsukuba Shrine is about a 3-minute walk.

You can see the cityscape of Tsukuba-shi, and on a clear day, you can see the skyscrapers of Tokyo and Tokyo Skytree in the distance.

We mainly offer Japanese-style rooms, as well as Guest rooms with open-air baths and Guest rooms with observation baths.

■ Hot springs

We are proud of our open-air baths with spectacular views, including the garden open-air bath and the Roman bath.

You can enjoy an open-air bath in an open space with an unobstructed view of the Kanto Plain.

Aiming to provide a more comfortable space and service, renovation work will be carried out during the closure from January to March, with a grand opening scheduled for spring 2024.
