A local Kumahachi statue painted by local high school students has been unveiled!

A statue of our founder, Kumahachi Aburaya, dressed in a local design created by a young sensibility, welcomes you in the hotel lobby.
KAMENOI HOTEL nationwide are working as an "art project" to have local high school students paint the brand new "Kumahachi Statue" on canvas in colors typical of the region.
The statue of Kumahachi at KAMENOI HOTEL KUJUKURI was designed and painted by members of the Chiba Prefectural Sosa High School Art Club and returned to the hotel on July 12, 2025. Please take a look at the details of the locally designed "Kumahachi Statue" created by this young sensibility.

Agriculture and fishing are thriving, and the charm of the very lively Asahi-shi was designed with the theme of "a town full of greenery".
The green of the jacket and tie is inspired by agriculture. In order to feel the vitality of the region, we arrange special products such as the sea.
KAMENOI HOTEL aims to be an even more appealing "local inn filled with tradition and warmth" by adding the unique value of the area to the spirit of hospitality and innovation that has been passed down since Kumahachi Aburaya 's founding.
