Kanonji-shiZenigata Sunae “Kanei Tsuho”
The "Kan'ei Tsūhō" coin drawn on the white sand of Ariake Beach is a gigantic sand painting measuring 122m east to west, 90m north to south, and 345m in circumference, and can be seen as a beautiful circle when viewed from the top of Mt. Kotobiki. It is said that if you see this coin, you will live a long and healthy life and never be short of money, so many people visit this place.

Kanonji-shi
swing in the sky
Unpenji Mountain straddles two prefectures, Kagawa and Tokushima. At the summit park there is ``a swing in the sky (Unpenji Summit Park/Unpenji Ropeway)'' . Riding on the swing set at an altitude of 920m offers a panoramic view of Mitoyo Plain and Hiuchinada, and is popular for its exhilaration and thrill as if you were flying through the sky.

Kanonji-shiTorii in the Sky (Takaya Shrine)
The torii gate of Takaya Shrine's main shrine, located at an altitude of about 404 meters, is also known as the "Torii Gate in the Sky" and is a scenic spot from which you can get a panoramic view of Kanonji-shi.

Mitoyo-shiChichibugahama
Chichibugahama is a long sandy beach stretching approximately 1 km from north to south. At low tide, you can see a mirror-like view of the sky in the tide pools (pools of water) that form on the sandy beach.

Mitoyo-shiMotoyamaji Temple
The view of the precincts, where the five-storied pagoda stands, is spectacular. The main hall is a stately building with a hipped structure and a tiled roof. Founded in 1300, it survived the war and still retains its original appearance. It is a masterpiece of the eclectic style of the Kamakura period, with a Kyoto-style exterior and a Nara style interior, and is designated as a national treasure. It is also the only one of the 88 sacred sites in Shikoku to have the Bato Kannon as its principal image.

Kanonji-shiAriakehama Horse Park
Ariakehama Horse Park is located in a quiet and calm place facing Ariakehama, right next to Kotohiki Park, which is rich in nature. Watching the sunset while riding a horse is a special experience. We value interaction with small animals and horses, so even small children can have fun together with whole family.

Kanonji-shiSankabashi
Sankabashi is the most beautiful bridge in the city, with three beautiful arches and has been selected as one of Japan's 100 Famous Bridges. It is a steel-framed concrete underpass type tied arch bridge with a length of 93m and a width of 6m, and is located on the way from Kanonji-shi to Ariake Beach and Kotohiki Park, a scenic spot. The sight of nine floats crossing the Sankabashi during the Kotohiki Hachimangu Grand Festival held in autumn is Kanonji tradition, and the sight of them crossing under the lights at night is especially spectacular.

Miyoshi CityObokechoboke
The gorge, formed by the erosion of crystalline schist, looks like a towering marble sculpture, and in spring cherry blossoms and in autumn a sea of autumn leaves add color to the clear stream, making for a thrilling boat ride. About 3km downstream from Oboke is Koboke. Although it is smaller than Oboke, the strange rocks and bizarre stones and the beauty of the rock surface, known as Koboke sandstone schist, make it just as attractive as Oboke schist.

Miyoshi CityIya's Kazura Bridge
◆ Nationally designated important tangible folk cultural property ◆
The Kazurabashi Bridge is located in the unexplored area of Iya, which holds the sad story of the Heike clan. It is made of vine (weighing about 6 tons) and is 45m long, 2m wide, and 14m above the water. In the past, it was the only bridge in the deep mountain valley area. It was a transportation facility and is replaced every three years.

Miyoshi CityUnpenji Temple
Located on Mount Unpenji at an altitude of 927m, it is also the 66th temple of the Shikoku Pilgrimage and attracts many believers. You can easily Access the summit by using the Unpenji Ropeway and enjoy a spectacular view of the autumn leaves spreading out below.
