A collaborative statue between local high school students and Kumahachi is complete!

"Kumahachi Statue" × Chiba Ritsu Nagasa High School

An unveiling event was held at the hotel on October 5, 2025.

With the theme of the charm of "local area", this is an art project in collaboration with the art department of Chiba Nagasa High School.

The statue of the founder Kumahachi Aburaya wears a "local" design and welcomes everyone.

A design that fits the image of Kamogawa!

Jackets using the fisherman's sunny clothes "Manshou", Kamogawa Matsushima, killer whales, and sea turtles as designs, and ties and pants inspired by Kamogawa Shichiri and lemons.

The area was decorated with rapeseed flowers reminiscent of "Nanahata Road," and visitors were invitedto pick up one of the flowers and take a commemorative photo with the Kumahachi statue.
