September full moon 🌕
- Other
The full moon on September 8th, 2025 this year is called the "Corn Moon."
What's more, this year will be special as a total lunar eclipse will occur at the same time! This will be the first time in about three years that a total lunar eclipse will be visible across Japan. The eclipse will begin at 1:27 AM, with the Moon completely entering the Earth's shadow. The total eclipse will begin at 2:30 AM, and will reach its maximum at 3:12 AM, ending at 3:53 AM. During this time, you can enjoy the "blood moon," where the Moon will be dyed copper-red.
Another fun thing to do is watch the moon and Saturn come close together. The moon will rise again in the eastern sky in the evening, and you will see a bright star right next to it. That is Saturn.
Why not enjoy some stargazing on September 8th?
The full moon in October is on October 7th.
Please come and enjoy the long autumn nights on our hotel's water basin terrace.
