How do I reserve accommodation at Kamenoi Hotel?

●Reservation via the Internet: You can make reservations at the hotel of your choice on the Kamenoi Hotel website from the first day of the month six months prior to your date of use.

●Reservations by telephone etc.: You can make reservations by calling the hotel of your choice from the first day of the month six months prior to your date of use.
Please note that for reservations made on the first day of the month, reception hours will start at 8:30.
*Telephone, etc.: Apply by phone, mail, or directly at the hotel front desk.
(Example) If you make a reservation for accommodation on November 10th, the reservation start date will be May 1st.

How many days in advance will the cancellation fee be charged?

If you cancel your reservation or change the number of people, the following cancellation fees will apply.

No-show: 100% of basic accommodation fee

On the day: 80% of the basic accommodation fee

3 days to 1 day before: 50% of the basic accommodation fee

10 to 4 days before: 20% of the basic accommodation fee

When making a reservation through a travel agency or a hotel reservation site, a cancellation fee will be charged in accordance with the prescribed cancellation policy.

About accommodation

Please tell me how to change trains to the nearest station.

For customers using the Shinkansen, get off at Atami Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen, transfer to the Ito Line, the last stop at Ito Station, then transfer to the Izukyu Line and get off at Izukogen Station.
For customers coming from the Tokyo area, take the limited express train Odoriko and get off at Izukogen Station, which is convenient as there is no need to change trains.

When I make a reservation online, there are no vacancies for the room type I want. Are all rooms fully booked?

Can I do early check-in or late check-out?

We do not accept it.

I would like to send my luggage in advance.

We will keep it at the front desk until the day of use. Please write the date of use and the name of the person making the reservation on the slip.

Can you see the sea from your room?

Our hotel is a 3-story building with all rooms offering ocean views.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?

All of our hotel Guest rooms are non-smoking. If you wish to smoke, please use the smoking corner inside the building.

Can only one person stay? How much is the additional fee?

Can be used by 1 person. Please note that additional charges will vary depending on the date of use and room type.

Is there a bath in the room?

Premium Twin, Premium Terrace Twin, Premium Luxury Suite, Premium Suite, and Premium Deluxe Suite come with an Hot springs spring bath.
Universal rooms have a unit bath. (Not Hot springs)
Superior Twin Room, Superior Triple Room 【33 ㎡】, and Japanese-style room 8 Tatami do not have a bath.

Please tell me about the equipment and amenities in the room.

Amenities include a hair dryer, TV, refrigerator, safe and kettle.
Amenities provided in each room include toothbrushes, razors, hairbrushes, hair ties, cotton pads, and cotton swabs.
Superior Twin Room and Superior Triple Room 【33 ㎡】come with shampoo, conditioner and body soap.
In the premium rooms with open Hot springs hot spring baths and Suite, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, makeup remover, face wash, lotion, milky lotion, and for men, face care wash, face care lotion, and scalp care lotion are provided.

Please tell me about storing valuables.

There is a safe in the room. You can also leave it at the front desk.

I am using a wheelchair. Are there any steps in the building? Also, are there any rooms that I can use?

There are no steps on each floor, but there are steps in Guest rooms (excluding universal rooms) and the public bath. Additionally, we have three universal rooms, one on each floor. It is possible to move to the bed in a wheelchair, and there is enough space in the restroom near the bathroom and toilet to rotate the wheelchair, but there are not enough nursing care facilities, so we ask that you use it with a helper. .

Can I have the hotel call a taxi?

We will arrange this at the front desk. Please feel free to tell us.

Please tell me how to Access nearby tourist spots.

There are local buses from Izukogen Station to various directions, but there are only about one bus per hour. We recommend sightseeing by taxi.

Is there a convenience store nearby?

It is located about 2 minutes by car from our hotel. (about 10 minutes on foot)

Can minors stay overnight?

Please bring your parent's consent form with you on the day. (You can download the consent form here.)

Will invoices/receipts be issued for accommodations paid in advance?

If you make a reservation with advance payment through a travel agency or hotel reservation site, as a general rule, the agency will issue the receipt, and the hotel will not be able to issue an invoice.
If you require a receipt that corresponds to the Japanese certified invoices and receipts (invoices), please make your reservation through the official MYSTAYS website.

About Food

Is it possible to bring in baby food (retort food)?

To prevent food poisoning, we generally do not allow food and drinks to be brought into the venue; however, you may bring in retort food such as baby food.
We do not accept homemade baby food.

What about allergy ingredients?

We may not be able to accommodate your request, so please let us know when making your reservation.

Is it possible to bring liquid food?

Please refrain from bringing food and drinks into your room or restaurant. For standard rooms, it is also possible to stay overnight with breakfast.

About in-house facilities

Please tell me more about the parking lot.

There are 67 parking spaces, and 2 parking spaces for people with internal disabilities. Parking is free. Please note that we do not accept reservations.

Can I use the internet?

Free Wi-Fi connection service is available in the hotel and Guest rooms.

Please tell me the hours for using the public bath.

The public bath is open from 5:30 to 10:00/13:00 to 00:00. Please note that the hours will be [5:30-10:00/14:30-00:00] only every Wednesday due to pipe disinfection.

Can I use the public bath even if I have a tattoo?

If you have a tattoo, please make sure that your tattoo is not visible to other customers.

Up to what age can children of the opposite sex enter the public bath together?

According to Shizuoka Public Bath Law Enforcement Ordinance, the age limit for mixed bathing is 7 years or older. Children up to the age of 6 may use the public bath with children of the opposite sex. (From October 1, 2023)

Can a baby who is not diapered use the public bath?

Please use it. (We do not provide baby baths, etc.)
