Using the site of the former Yamato Third Elementary School, which had been closed down, an experiential agricultural theme park themed around sweet potatoes opened in 2015. It is a multi-purpose facility where visitors can "see, learn, eat, and experience" the charm of agriculture and food.

[Roasted Sweet Potato Factory Museum]
This is the main facility where you can learn about the history of sweet potatoes and the secrets of delicious baked sweet potatoes in a fun way. The actual factory tour route is
It includes an experience of a -30 degree Celsius freezer, and you can also enjoy tasting freshly baked sweet potatoes.
The unique exhibits, such as quizzes modeled after homework, make the most of the original school building.

[Abundant nature and agricultural experiences]
As the name "Farmers Village" suggests, the main attraction is the harvesting experience in the vast fields.
In addition to digging up sweet potatoes in the fall, you can harvest seasonal vegetables and fruits while getting your hands dirty in the soil.
We also offer a variety of hands-on programs directly related to food education, such as "Homemade Sweet Potato Making Class."

[A great selection of restaurants and shops]
The facility includes "Farm to the Table Sakura Cafe," where you can enjoy fresh local vegetables from Namegata City and special sweet potato sweets. A bakery and aging cellar are also located on-site, and the limited-edition sweets are very popular as souvenirs. At the farmers market, you can also purchase freshly picked vegetables grown by local farmers.

Glamping and the Outdoors
Taking advantage of the vast school grounds and rich natural environment, the facility offers glamping where you can stay in authentic tents, and also offers a "no-bring-your-own" option.
A barbecue area is also available for you to enjoy.

[Hydrangea Festival]
June 13 to July 5, 2026
At "Hydrangea Forest," colorful hydrangeas bloom in profusion, and there are photo spots and hands-on events.
For two days only, June 27th and 28th, there will be a bubble show, workshops, and a nighttime light-up event.

A 10-day limited summer fun festival is being held, offering fun for the whole family, from a 16-meter-long flowing noodle station and water play where you're guaranteed to get soaked, to serious science project workshops.
