This is a famous confectionery from Izu named after Nobel Prize-winning author Yasunari Kawabata's masterpiece ``Izu no Odoriko.''
Roasted walnuts are mixed with white bean paste, wrapped in Western-style sable dough, and baked.
The deliciousness that goes well with Japanese tea, coffee, and black tea has been loved by everyone for over half a century since its release.
