A local Kumahachi statue painted by local high school students has been unveiled!

A statue of our founder, Kumahachi Aburaya, dressed in a local design created by a young sensibility, welcomes you in the hotel lobby.
KAMENOI HOTEL nationwide are working as an "art project" to have local high school students paint the brand new "Kumahachi Statue" on canvas in colors typical of the region.
KAMENOI HOTEL AKO 's "Kumahachi Statue" was designed and painted by the art department of Hyogo Ako High School, and returned to the hotel on October 19, 2025. Please see the details of the local design "Kumahachi statue" drawn by a young sensibility.

Ako is a righteous man, so I imagine a Ako ronin and a Ako tangerine. The tie is inspired by the Seto Inland Sea.
KAMENOI HOTEL aims to be an even more appealing "local inn filled with tradition and warmth" by adding the unique value of the area to the spirit of hospitality and innovation that has been passed down since Kumahachi Aburaya 's founding.
In this project, the "Kumahachi statue" in each region will become a new symbol, and it will be an opportunity for customers visiting KAMENOI HOTEL nationwide to discover new charms, and we will aim to deepen the familiarity of the local people as a "hotel in our town".
