Announcement of Tondabayashi Jinaimachi Toro

This event has been held in Tondabayashi Jinaimachi for about 460 years.

Around dusk, when it starts to get dark and the Higurashi chirps, each lantern placed in the town is lit with a candle.

The stone pavement and old townscape from the Edo period are dimly lit by lanterns.
