Recommended summer experiential spot: Saitama Prefectural River Museum

This interactive museum, themed around the Arakawa River that flows right in front of it, offers a fun and educational experience.

On a vast 40,000 square meter site, you'll be greeted by Japan's largest wooden waterwheel, with a diameter of 24.2 meters.

There are exhibits explaining the Arakawa River from its source to its mouth, allowing visitors to learn about the river.

Additionally, the facility includes Arakawa Wakuwaku Land, a water-based obstacle course popular with children, and the "Kawasemi-go" adventure theater, where visitors can experience a thrilling river rafting adventure through video.

[Arakawa Wakuwaku Land] This is a very popular water play spot where you can enjoy rowboats and water obstacle courses. During the summer holidays, it will be a complete rotation system with same-day reservations.
[Summer Special Exhibition] Every year, a large-scale exhibition on insects and aquatic life is held, along with related events such as a stamp rally.
