This is a local dish from Gunma famous for its wheat flour production, where salt-free wide noodles are simmered in a large pot with seasonal vegetables. The flavorful noodles and thick dashi broth with lots of ingredients will warm you up.
Steamed Joshu Barley Pork and Cabbage
Mugibuta pork, which is fattened on grains, has little odor and is perfect for steaming to bring out the flavor of the ingredients. Enjoy with Tsumagoi cabbage and ponzu sauce or sesame sauce.
Sashimi Konjac
Sashimi konnyaku, made by hand by artisans from konnyaku yams grown in the fields of Mount Akagi, has a texture and taste that is different from commercially available konnyaku.
Oyaki
Local cuisine from neighboring Nagano, including stir-fried Nozawana greens and eggplant dressed in sweet miso.
Oyako-ni
A fluffy dish made with chicken and eggs from Gunma. Enjoy it on top of rice.

The delicious rice "Hana Yukari" from Nakanojo is made into grilled rice balls and topped off with a fragrant blend of miso, made with Tokumo miso also from Nakanojo Town.
