Fireworks, Hot springs, and a relaxing time

Summer in Izukogen is a special season where the beauty of nature and the excitement of events come together.

A particular highlight of the trip in July and August is the fireworks festivals held daily in neighboring areas such as Ito, Atagawa and Atami.

The Ito Hot springs "Yume Fireworks" will be held a total of nine times from July 26th to August 24th, with approximately 1,000 fireworks lighting up the night sky each time.

In addition, on August 10th, the Anjin Festival: Sea Fireworks will be held to commemorate the construction of Japan's first Western-style sailing ship in Ito by Miura Anjin (British man William Adams).

An amazing night awaits as approximately 10,000 fireworks, the largest of their kind in Izu, are launched simultaneously from five locations over the sea.
