The 46th Omuroyama mountain burning will be held.

Omuroyama, located about a 10-minute drive from our hotel, hosts the "Yamayaki" mountain burning event every February.

This mountain burning is a traditional event with over 700 years of history, but it was originally started with the aim of preserving the mountains.

It has now become an established feature of Ito's spring scenery, attracting many tourists every year.

The sight of flames shooting up from the base to the summit is truly spectacular, consuming the entire mountainside in just 20 minutes.
