Takatoyama Fire Festival will be held again this year!

The annual Fire Festival will be held again this year at Takatoyama in Wakamatsu Ward, Kitakyushu-shi!

The Fire Festival event began in 1955 when Akutagawa Prize-winning author Hino Ashihei climbed the mountain holding a torch in the hope of ``lighting up the dull post-war world.''

A beautiful procession of torches that looks like shining threads,

Would you like to experience the traditional fire festival event of climbing Mt. Takato holding torches?

In addition, a soap bubble show will be held at Kukinohama Square and Takatoyama Park!

Venue: Reception → Kukinohama Plaza (next to JR Wakamatsu Station)

Kappa Festival → Kukinohama Square (next to JR Wakamatsu Station)

Torchlight procession → From Kukinohama Square to Takatoyama Park
