10 days on weekends and holidays from September 20th (Sat) to October 13th (Mon, national holiday), 2025. Hours: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM each day (last entrance 8:30 PM)

Sightseeing

The feudal garden of the Ii family, former lords of Hikone "Genkyuen" is a strolling garden with a pond that embodies the lavishness of Edo culture.

The garden will be illuminated for a special viewing during the harvest moon period.
This is an event that can be enjoyed in different ways depending on the phases of the moon, so be sure to come and visit.

*In the event of rain (or if rain is expected), all events except the light-up will be cancelled.

Dark Knight: September 20th (Sat), 21st (Sun), 23rd (Tue, holiday), 27th (Sat), 28th (Sun), 5 days in total

Moon Night: October 4th (Sat), 5th (Sun), 11th (Sat), 12th (Sun), 13th (Mon, holiday), 5 days in total

18:00-21:00 each day (entry until 20:30)
