
Hikone & Maibara Refreshing Girls Trip Course

We will introduce a course packed with experiences around Hikone and Maibara, from theme parks filled with nature, to gourmet tours, to visiting power spots, and even crafting experiences!

Hikone-shi Shiga is known nationwide for its mascot character, Hikonyan.
There are plenty of things to see, including Lake Biwa and historical sites such as Hikone.
This time, we will introduce a course centered around various activities that you can experience in the Hikone area.
Day 1
Day. 110:00 Arrive at Roseberry Tawada!
Take a stroll through the tourist garden where you can enjoy over 1,000 roses of approximately 400 varieties and perennial plants that change with the seasons!
In addition to being able to interact with animals like sheep and ponies, as well as have a variety of experiences such as bread making and barbecues, the park also has scenery that resembles the English countryside, and there are plenty of other elements perfect for a girls' trip, such as a garden goods store and a wine shop!
The Shaun the Sheep Farm Garden area in the park faithfully recreates the farmer's house and sheep's huts that appear in the story, allowing you to enjoy the world of the work. In addition, at WakuWaku Farm you can meet the Valais Blacknose Sheep, a Swiss breed that is said to be the cutest in the world!

12:00 Lunch at a restaurant in the park
After having fun at the ranch and candy garden, enjoy lunch at a restaurant inside the park.
There are several restaurants and cafes within the park, so check out one that catches your eye.
Hillside Cafe
This cafe is located on a hill with a great view, and the terrace seats are pleasant to sit on when the weather is nice.
In addition to authentic fried food, you can also enjoy exclusive menu items that can only be eaten here, such as pizza baked in a special oven and "Shaun the Sheep" sweets!

14:30 Drive to the hotel
After enjoying the ranch and sweets, we drove back to the hotel.

The drive ends at KAMENOI HOTEL Hikone.
After completing the check-in procedures at the bright and modern front desk, you can enjoy a welcome drink in the guest lounge reserved for overnight guests to relax before dinner.

The large Hot springs bath on the top floor is a glass-enclosed observation bath.
Hikone Sennomatsubara Hot springs is effective for treating poor circulation, joint pain, and fatigue.
Relax and warm up in the natural Hot springs and refresh your body after a day of walking.
21:00~Nighttime relaxation time & "Hell Tour Dandanmen"

Yonbancho Square is an area where you can feel the romance of the Taisho era, with buildings that all have a modern facade, gas lamps set up in the square, and monuments placed here and there.
Shop for souvenirs and cute Hikonyan and Warunyanko Shogun merchandise.
On weekends and holidays, greetings with Hikonyan are also available from 11:00!

11:30 Visit Taga Taisha Shrine
We head to Taga Taisha Shrine, the largest shrine in Shiga, which has long been affectionately known as "Otaga-san."
Taga Taisha Shrine is famous not only for granting longevity and warding off evil, but also for matchmaking, and is home to exciting votive plaques and amulets.
Be sure to also visit power spots such as Sanbonsugi, the largest cedar tree in the prefecture, which is said to have grown from cedar chopsticks that Izanagi-no-Okami thrust into the ground when he descended from the heavens, as well as Taga Shakushi and the Lifespan Stone.
