"Kumamon" concept room to be launched on Friday, November 1, 2024!
Starting November 1, 2024, Kamenoi Hotel Aso will be offering seven"Kumamon Rooms," concept rooms based on Kumamon, Kumamoto's proud local mascot.

There are three types: "Kumamon Room Force," "Kumamon Room Triple," and "Kumamon Room Queen."
In addition to the wallpaper, which depicts the majestic scenery of Aso in calming earth tones, the black and red colours used on the bed throws and cushions are linked to Kumamon.
You can encounter "Kumamon" throughout the room, creating a relaxing Guest rooms for adults as well as children.
You can use it according to the number of people, such as friends, couples, or families.

"Kumamon" is the PR character Kumamoto, which won first place in the memorable "1st Yuru-chara Grand Prix."
It was created in March of the same year, when the Kyushu Shinkansen line opened on its entire line.
The black body is based on the black of Kumamoto Castle, one of the three famous castles in the Japan, and the red cheeks on both cheeks are said to come from the old name of Kumamoto "Fire Country".
Aso is a unique region in the world, with approximately 60,000 people living within a vast caldera formed by active volcanic activity. Kumamoto and seven municipalities in Aso County (Aso-shi, Minamioguni Town, Oguni Town, Ubuyama Village, Takamori Town, Aso Village, and Nishihara Village) are aiming to have the "Aso Caldera-Caldera Agricultural Landscape that has Lived Together with Grasslands" registered as a World Heritage Site.
