"Benkei Festival" and "Fireworks Festival"

The 35th Benkei Festival will be held in Tanabe-shi on Friday, October 6th and Saturday, October 7th, 2023.

The two-day event will be filled with excitement, including the ``Benkei Geta Odori,'' which has continued since the first Benkei Festival, and the ``Kishu Benkei Yosakoi Odori,'' which began in 1998.

On the second day, October 7th (Saturday), the Tanabe Fireworks Festival will be held for approximately 30 minutes from 8:00 p.m.
